agent k was the first to fall, a victim of a zergling melee attack and was overcome by a zergling horde.
       despite knowledge of the various extraterrestrial systems, there was no actual proof of the being called by the horde "the great Overmind". just rumors and here say from the handful of survivors of now infested systems.
         the M I B were the last to fall , as one  by one the last assault battalion  were infested and bred in the center of the american continent. those who were bred by the Overmind attacked their human counterparts in fire fights that left nothing alive except the highly adaptive Overlord units and "the infected",  humans bred from the hives.

all the modern cities fell in a blizzard of fire and blood. now where there once had been  prosperous cities there is skulls of humanity and our machina  along with grim reminders of or defeat ; human corpses impaled and spread across the old battlegrounds of the streets.

what little we managed to salvage our engineers retro fitted and created new technology based on the data and thus was our armory created , but still the enslavement continues. . . .

 in the years that followed the infestation a more horrifying fact was discovered. The Overmind had transplanted itself to the center of the hive controlled continent of America, and in doing so commanded the assimilation of all zoological life on earth . IT succeeded in the assimilation due to the influence of the creep which now turned the water into ecodisasters capable of melting the strongest of all compounds.
 the Overmind had forced the hybridization of zergling and elephant dna together to create  what we called "the tus'k" which was a thinking tank destroyer, gorilla and hydralisk to create  a fully integrate battalion killer and the sharks had been pushed to the evolutionary brink and given a single hive conciseness which were now the superior foot soldiers better than the hydralisk strain. the creep ha taken over the center of the planet dominating the seas but somehow avoided the ice plains. we moved there shortly after satellite thermal scans confirmed this.
 

now we await the time when we can use the hydrobomb planet killer to destroy the infestation of earth. . .

at this point there is no cure for the creep and i doubt that there ever will be a liberated earth because now the humans , we who still cling to the rebellion  number a little more than 100 .

in the twelfth month on the twenty fifth day the earth was destroyed , by an oxygen destroyer and then firebombed by a planet killer. due to nanitechnology we have built a new home on the moon and we await the time when the earth shall be ours once again. the overmind and all its abomatable creatures IS destroyed . it is estimated that it will take 200 years for the hydrofire to burn the parasite completely from the planet t which time shall we return.
